Damar Hamlin - American Football Safety
Hamlin was born on March 19, 1998, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He attended Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, where he was a four-star recruit and one of the top safeties in the country.
Hamlin played college football at the University of Pittsburgh, where he started 33 games over four seasons.
In his senior year, Hamlin recorded 63 tackles, four interceptions, and six passes defended.
He was named to the All-ACC Third Team and helped lead the Panthers to an appearance in the 2020 ACC Championship Game.
Despite his collegiate success, Hamlin was not selected in the 2021 NFL Draft and signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent.
He made the Bills' 53-man roster for the 2021 season and played in 14 games, mostly on special teams.
Hamlin recorded nine tackles, one pass defended, and one forced fumble during his rookie year.
